Friday update
Posted on Friday, January 28, 2022Dear Parents/Guardians,
We continue to have had no positive cases since Thursday 17th January. We had some of our pupils returning this week after isolation and we still have families finishing their isolations. We have had incidents of children just finishing their isolation but a parent or family member tested positive so the child had to continue isolation for another few days. Here are most recent guidelines for isolation.
All parents can continue to order antigen tests through this link School roll no: 15997P
From now on we ask that parents test their children on a Monday morning and carry out a second test on Wednesday morning. We must continue to remain vigilant, staff are continuing to test every morning.
(This is not necessary for children who have recovered from Covid recently and completed their isolation.)
Hopefully we have reached the end of this outbreak in the school but we must still remember it is possible for any of us to catch Covid outside school. We must continue some testing and if we have any symptoms to stay at home until certain that it is not Covid related.
In other news, we should have rugby on Monday for 2nd-6th class and hurling on Tuesday for 2nd-6th class.
Wishing all our families a lovely weekend and looking forward to having more pupils return next week.
Kind regards,
Éilis Treacy
Principal
